Standard Imaging Raises Money to Fight Cancer (PDF)

Standard Imaging, Inc. is pleased to announce that it recently raised nearly $17,500 for the American Cancer Society, as part of its 8th Annual Golf Classic fundraiser, held on May 15, 2009, at The Meadows of Six Mile Creek golf course. The 151 participants, drawn from Standard Imaging employees, other local firms and the University of Wisconsin, persevered questionable weather, but enjoyed friendly competition during the 18-hole scramble event.

Standard Imaging announced today the acquisition of the Lucy 3D QA Phantom product line from Sandstrom Trade & Technology, Welland, Ontario, Canada. Lucy 3D QA Phantom is a comprehensive quality assurance instrument used to test and measure the accuracy of stereotactic radiosurgery and radiotherapy protocols when treating tumors and other medical disorders by simulating a patient's head. Stereotactic radiosurgery is a non-invasive medical procedure that utilizes very accurately targeted, large doses of radiation and is an effective alternative to surgery or conventional radiation treatment.

Varian, Standard Imaging and TomoTherapy Elected to ASTRO’s 2006 Corporate Advisory Council

These companies were elected by ASTRO's corporate membership and approved by the Society's Board of Directors.
